Biocide additive “Nanosilver ARGITOS” is a highly effective universal biocide of a new generation for use in the design and construction of clean rooms.
Biocide additive “Nanosilver ARGITOS” is intended for use as a new generation biocide in the production and use of primers, putties, paints, varnishes, polymer self-leveling floors, floor coverings, wall and cladding panels, ceiling coverings, air conditioning systems in the design and construction of clean rooms :
– clean rooms in hospitals (aseptic delivery rooms, resuscitation rooms and intensive care wards for patients who have undergone complex surgical interventions, premature and injured children during childbirth, tuberculosis dispensaries, local clean workplaces and clean areas, laboratories, dressing rooms, treatment rooms, sterilization rooms;
– laboratories of high-purity chemical compounds, medicines, microbiology;
– clean rooms in pharmaceuticals;
– clean rooms in microelectronics.
The drug was developed using advanced nanobiotechnologies and “green chemistry” methods and are transparent concentrates of silver nanoparticles with a wide spectrum of antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal and algicidal effects against more than 650 pathogenic microorganisms, yeasts and viruses:
– concentrate (1000-10000 ppm) in aqueous solution (silver nanoparticle size 1-2 nm);
– concentrate (1000-7000 ppm) in propylene glycol (silver nanoparticle size 10 nm).
ARGITOS nanosilver has increased activity against:
– bacteria (destroys about 650 types of bacteria);
– viruses (destroys influenza viruses, adenoviruses, enteroviruses);
– mushrooms, yeast (destroys and suppresses the growth of yeast-like and moldy fungi).
Advantages of ARGITOS nanosilver:
– high biocidal activity against bacteria, fungi, yeast, algae (microorganisms are not able to adapt to the biocidal effect of nanosilver, as is observed when using conventional biocides);

The biocidal additive “Nanosilver ARGITOS” was tested and received a positive conclusion at the Research Institute of Disinfectology of Rospotrebnadzor on the biocidal activity of aqueous acrylic paints and organic solvent-based paints modified with the biocidal additive “Nanosilver ARGITOS” in relation to the following group of pathogenic microorganisms: Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli , Pseudomonas aeruginisae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Candida spp., Enterococcus spp., Bacillus spp, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Trichophyton gypseum, Aspergillus niger.
Nanosilver gives modified materials and their coatings a lasting antiseptic and antibacterial effect. The environmentally friendly material has high antimicrobial activity against pathogens of various infectious and viral diseases:
– influenza, hepatitis A, tuberculosis and other most common infections;
– effectively kills bacteria E. coli, salmonella, staphylococcus;
– eliminates the need to frequently repeat the treatment of premises using chlorine-containing disinfectants that are harmful to health.
The coating retains antimicrobial properties for a long time (up to 3 years).
Mode of application
The mass concentration of the drug recommended by us is introduced into the composition of the materials in a certain quantity and mixed thoroughly. Which concentration of biocide additive to choose is determined by the final manufacturer, based on its internal marketing policy and its own considerations. In any case, silver works with a “large margin”. The concentrations we recommend are optimally justified from all points of view: bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect, safety for humans, cost of the final product, economic feasibility of use, etc.
